Project Management Industrial Placement 2027 (Quantum Error Correction)

Location: Cambridge, UK; hybrid, with placements based at the Cambridge head office

Salary: £27,000 per annum, depending on experience

Company

hirify.global develops quantum error correction technology and partners with quantum hardware providers and government agencies to advance fault-tolerant quantum computing.

What you will do

• Coordinate internal communications and company events across the business.
• Drive collaboration between Engineering, Science, Finance, Operations, and external vendors.
• Build knowledge-sharing resources for employees and new starters.
• Own PMO tools, templates, and processes, identifying improvements and implementing practical solutions.
• Manage real workstreams and support cross-functional operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be currently studying on a university course with a sandwich-year placement requirement.
• Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the placement.
• Must be available to work full-time for 12.5 months.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to act as a cross-functional point of contact.
• Proactive ownership, an interest in project management, operations, or process improvement, and an ability to find creative solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience using databases and Microsoft Office.
