IT Management Industrial Placement 2027 (AI)

Location: UK-based placements at Brooklands, Newcastle (Longbenton), Weybridge (Surrey), and potentially West Thurrock (Essex). The placement runs from 5 July 2027 to 13 June 2028, and candidates must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define high-impact technology opportunities.
• Architect and build intelligent production solutions using appropriate data engineering tools.
• Apply agentic AI and autonomous AI concepts to practical business challenges.
• Take ownership of real projects and lead them through to completion.
• Develop technical, business, communication, leadership, and change-management skills.

Requirements

• Studying for or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
• Experimental and iterative approach to developing solutions in ambiguous environments.
• Curiosity about autonomous AI and its practical applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including partnering with non-technical stakeholders and translating business challenges into technical requirements.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and valid UK right to work without sponsorship are required.
