Project Manager (Digital Assessment)

Location: Cardiff, UK. Hybrid working is to be confirmed.

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience.

The International Baccalaureate provides educational services to more than 6,000 schools across 160 countries and is transitioning its Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme examinations from paper to digital formats.

What you will do

• Create project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, roles, and accountability.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, internal teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
• Manage dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, contingencies, change requests, and project governance.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to support decisions and improve project performance.
• Report progress, risks, outcomes, and strategic issues to senior leadership.
• Ensure deliverables are completed and accepted, and capture lessons learned at project closure.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex projects or strategic initiatives in an international organisation.
• Experience managing multifaceted initiatives with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• Degree-level qualification and strong knowledge of project management methodologies, software, and tools.
• Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data, generate insights, and support decisions.
• Strong influencing, relationship-building, judgement, problem-solving, communication, and prioritisation skills.
• Resilience and adaptability in a changing, resource-constrained environment.
