Senior Manager – Card Benefit Partner Development (Payments)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; based in hirify.global’s San Francisco or Foster City office with at least 3 days in the office required. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $180,600–$289,300 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Develop partnership strategies across retail, subscription services, health and wellness, and travel through market research and competitive analysis.
• Evaluate prospective partners and prepare research, partner profiles, briefing materials, and outreach coordination.
• Build data analyses, business cases, benefit comparisons, user experience considerations, and commercial inputs for deal development.
• Coordinate workstreams across Marketing, Sales, Sponsorships, Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Client Management, and product platform teams.
• Manage partnership pipelines, follow-ups, documentation, timelines, approvals, and handoffs to partner management teams.
• Support advisory engagements with financial institution and cobrand clients through research, presentations, and product-level benefit recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with an advanced degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
• Experience in product management, product ownership, business process analysis, or sales operations.
• Experience managing complex projects, multitasking, and coordinating cross-functional work.
• Experience collaborating with systems, marketing, and sales teams.
• Digital fluency, including the ability to use emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco or Foster City office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Agile experience across design, development, testing, and product management.
• Experience developing software capabilities for sales, service, or customer relationship management.
• Agile certifications such as CSM or CSPO.
• Experience managing product-development tradeoffs, identifying failure points, and designing error-handling approaches for product resiliency.
