Senior Manager Global Compliance (Automotive)

Location: Remote - Canada

Salary: CAD 124,425–199,080 annually, plus annual bonus opportunity and other benefits.

What you will do

• Own and operate an integrated compliance management system covering quality, HSE, security, privacy, legal and regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
• Define scalable, audit-ready policies, standards, controls, evidence frameworks, governance structures, and cross-functional accountability.
• Lead internal, external, certification, customer, and regulator audits; coordinate corrective actions and strategic compliance improvements.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and HSE on automotive cybersecurity, secure development, privacy, and product approval requirements.
• Monitor global regulatory changes and convert regional laws into actionable requirements and operational controls.
• Report consolidated compliance risks and risk-based priorities to executive leadership and the Audit Committee.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk, quality, security, or regulatory roles within software, automotive, cloud, or regulated technology industries.
• Experience owning multiple compliance domains and building or operating ISO-based management systems.
• Experience working with internal audit, external auditors, regulators, and executive leadership or boards.
• Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into operational controls and manage stakeholders across Legal, Engineering, Product, Security, Finance, and Operations.
• Strong understanding of audit operations, enterprise compliance risk, and risk-based prioritization.
• Experience with automotive and security frameworks such as ISO 27001/27017, TISAX, ISO 21434, and ASPICE, plus privacy requirements including GDPR and UK GDPR.

• Exposure to connected-vehicle, cybersecurity, or AI regulatory regimes.
