Compliance Lead (AI)

Annual base salary: $85,500–$105,600 CAD

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve a risk-based ethics and compliance strategy.
• Lead impartial investigations into non-compliance, unethical conduct, and Code of Conduct violations, using AI tools for efficiency and pattern detection.
• Draft and maintain policies covering conduct, anti-corruption, third-party risk, sanctions, conflicts of interest, and whistleblowing.
• Design compliance risk assessments and provide data-driven recommendations to address vulnerabilities.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Technology, HR, IT, Operations, and senior management to embed compliance into business processes.
• Build automated workflows, scalable tools, and self-service knowledge resources for compliance operations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada while working remotely.
• 5–8 years of experience developing and managing ethics and compliance programs, conducting internal investigations, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience adopting SaaS platforms, AI tools, and workflow automation to scale compliance operations.
• Strong risk and control orientation, analytical ability, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field focused on ethics and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, maintain high attention to detail, and work with evolving regulations.
