Supply Chain Specialist I - Materials Management, Full-time, Days

Location: 10400 Haligus Rd, Huntley, Illinois, United States; on-site day shift, Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary: USD 17.25–25.01 per hour

What you will do

• Manage daily inventory ordering, replenishment, receiving, equipment, linen, and mail activities.
• Order and deliver supplies and linen to user areas according to par levels, identifying shortages and overstock.
• Conduct routine audits and document discrepancies, expirations, shortages, and inventory accuracy issues.
• Use WaveMark and PeopleSoft to maintain supply chain data integrity.
• Support clinical staff and internal customers with product changes, supply needs, and logistics issues.
• Contribute to process improvement, cost reduction, safety, compliance, and daily team operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least two years of relevant work experience in lieu of the diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn multiple software programs.
• Ability to work independently, respond quickly under pressure, think critically, and stay organized.
• Ability to work on site in Huntley, Illinois, Tuesday through Saturday during the day shift.

Nice to have

• Two years of work experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Associate degree in a related field.
