Technical Project Manager (AI Automation)

Location: Hybrid work from the Karlsruhe or Berlin offices, Germany

What you will do

• Manage medium-sized programs and complex projects across their full lifecycle, primarily at the interface between Product Management and Software Development.
• Structure initiatives by status, effort, risks, dependencies, business value, and resource requirements.
• Help establish project management methodology, prioritization logic, and change management processes.
• Plan resources and capacity, resolve cross-department resource conflicts, and maintain transparent delivery reporting across time, budget, and quality.
• Align stakeholders across Software Development, IT, BI, Commercial Management, Sales, Finance, Networks, and Customer Care.
• Drive AI automation of PMO workflows with Claude and n8n, while mentoring and coaching Project Managers in planning and risk management.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated project management experience in a technical environment, including several complex initiatives in parallel.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and agile frameworks such as PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum, or SAFe.
• IT affinity with proficiency in Jira and Confluence; experience with Claude and n8n for workflow automation is beneficial.
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous topics, resolve conflicts, work independently, and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English, written and spoken, is required.
