Senior Manager, Programs - Global Expansion and New Initiatives (Fintech)

Location: Remote Canada; candidates must reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan.

Base pay: 153,000–213,000 CAD per year. Total compensation may also include equity, health, wellness and technology stipends, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for scaling Customer Operations across new products, merchants, partners, geographies, and channels.
• Define operating objectives, policies, frameworks, methods, success criteria, and repeatable playbooks for international initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team spanning program management, service delivery, process management, and continuous improvement.
• Drive large-scale cross-functional programs, managing scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, and post-launch performance across multiple markets.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Risk, Training, Knowledge, and Service Delivery to coordinate discovery, planning, and execution.
• Own portfolio governance, communication, change management, performance reviews, and decision-making for global servicing operations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years leading teams, managers, or senior professionals.
• Experience building and scaling global customer experience operations across cultures and geographies.
• Deep expertise in program and process management, including defining methods, standards, and evaluation criteria.
• Functional knowledge of customer care, fraud, and/or merchant operations, including processes, systems, and key metrics.
• Experience with shared services, operations, services, or sales; experience across multiple markets and a consumer lending or financial services background are strongly preferred.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems, influence senior stakeholders, exercise judgment, and develop people and new capabilities.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Experience delivering programs across multiple geographies or markets.
• Background in consumer lending or financial services.
