Senior Manager, Technical Software Program Manager (AI)

Location: Mississauga, Canada; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week

Salary: $140,240–$190,240 annual base pay, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive equal to 20% of base pay

What you will do

• Lead large-scale, complex software programs from concept definition through global delivery.
• Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, product, sales, services, IT, finance, marketing, and support.
• Develop strategic initiatives, innovation roadmaps, business plans, proof-of-value cases, and customer ROI models.
• Guide solution execution, including requirements validation, architecture specification, lifecycle governance, system integration, release management, demonstrations, pilots, and deployment.
• Establish performance standards, operational measurement frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and time to market.
• Lead program management teams, develop talent, manage strategic technology partnerships, and present program status to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience, including at least 2 years supervising or managing teams.
• Strong full-lifecycle program management experience and experience implementing Scrum agile methodologies.
• Experience with Scaled Agile, test-driven development, continuous integration, and software development best practices.
• Technical familiarity with cloud software, edge and mobile ecosystems, firmware, Android and iOS applications, and software-services integration.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional programs, budgets, risks, schedules, quality, and technical challenges.
• Strong strategic leadership, analytical, communication, critical-thinking, collaboration, and team-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI development lifecycles and significant AI or SaaS solution offerings delivered to market.
• Experience leading digital transformation using AI, automation, and data analytics.
• Experience with NPI planning, ISO compliance, contract and SOW management, strategic suppliers, and budgets of up to $15 million.
• Master's degree.
