Electrical Supervisor Full Time Days

Location: Palos Heights, Illinois, United States. Onsite, full-time day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Must be available for all shifts during shutdowns and generator testing.

Salary: USD 45 per hour.

What you will do

• Supervise and lead electricians, assign work, and schedule preventive maintenance and service calls.
• Coordinate electrical shutdowns, generator testing, repairs, installations, and other work with hospital personnel and contractors.
• Evaluate electrical equipment and distribution systems to plan repairs or replacements.
• Monitor electrical work for compliance with hospital procedures, policies, codes, regulations, and standards.
• Direct electrical testing, document results, and implement departmental safety training.
• Support reliable fire and electrical systems, including responding to fire and disaster alarms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• At least five years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
• Current knowledge of NFPA, National Electrical Codes, fire alarm systems, and Life Safety Codes.
• Availability for all shifts during shutdowns and generator testing is required.

• Electrical Supervisor experience in a hospital environment.
