Facilities Electrician (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States; the role travels to and works at multiple hirify.global project and operating sites as needed.

Salary: $40–$55 per hour, plus restricted stock units, bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do

• Perform skilled electrical construction, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, corrective repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and improve high-voltage distribution, 480-volt and 208-volt single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, panels, lighting, and building systems.
• Prepare, install, commission, energize, and bring production equipment and facility systems online.
• Deploy to project and operating sites to support facility startup, commissioning, operational readiness, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct facility inspections and maintain accurate written and electronic documentation.
• Perform work across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, compressed-air, HVAC, and lighting systems while following safety practices.

Requirements

• At least two years of electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED credential.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams, perform arithmetic calculations, troubleshoot problems, organize workloads, and work with general supervision.
• Ability to safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
• Ability and willingness to travel to and work at multiple hirify.global sites; applicants must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for information subject to U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment commissioning, facility startup, or operational readiness.
• Experience across multiple maintenance trades in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Experience mobilizing between project sites and adapting to changing field priorities.
