Assistant Professor of Management/Strategy

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States. Faculty hours are Monday through Friday and may vary by assignment and course modality; courses may be face-to-face, online, or hybrid, with fully online delivery currently in highest demand.

What you will do

• Teach approximately three undergraduate business strategy courses per term, with primary responsibility for the business strategy capstone.
• Deliver engaging instruction across face-to-face, online, hybrid, and primarily fully online formats.
• Contribute scholarly and professional activities consistent with AACSB scholarly academic status.
• Maintain a viable and impactful pipeline of works in progress and collaborate on research projects.
• Participate in professional development, consulting, conferences, certifications, and other industry-related activities.
• Contribute to department, college, university, professional, or community service; first-year faculty are exempt from institutional committee service.

Requirements

• Doctorate in strategic management or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited university.
• Eligibility for the AACSB “scholarly academic” faculty classification.
• Documented success teaching business strategy, including fully online instruction.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• At least three years of full-time collegiate teaching experience.
• Experience working with doctoral students.
• Industry experience and ongoing professional connections.
• Experience creating original, dynamic, and engaging online course materials.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills for supporting non-traditional, first-generation, and military-affiliated students.
