Senior Security Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and implement security architectures, standards, and controls across applications, infrastructure, cloud, endpoints, and software development environments.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, security monitoring, detection, control testing, and continuous security improvements.
• Oversee encryption, PKI, certificates, secrets management, HSMs, digital signatures, and post-quantum cryptographic readiness.
• Translate security risks and regulatory requirements into practical controls, support audits and SOC 2 compliance, and maintain security policies.
• Coordinate incident response, conduct technical investigations and root-cause analysis, and maintain response procedures and playbooks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field, plus at least five years of relevant security engineering experience.
• Hands-on enterprise security experience across cloud, networks, infrastructure, identity, applications, Linux/macOS, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cryptography, PKI, key and secrets management, HSMs, vulnerability management, compliance, incident response, forensics, and DevSecOps.
• Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent English communication, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain, DLT, or digital assets.
• Background in regulated financial services or market infrastructure.
• Experience with HSMs, post-quantum cryptography, security audits, cloud-native platforms, and DevSecOps toolchains.
