Senior Security Engineer

What you will do

• Architect, implement, and support enterprise security engineering projects from requirements gathering through operational handoff.
• Design secure, scalable solutions with infrastructure, application, network, cloud, and security teams.
• Provide technical expertise across vulnerability management, cloud security, identity, endpoint, security architecture, and application security.
• Evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and technology risks and translate them into practical security improvements.
• Own security documentation, reporting standards, metrics, and governance expectations.
• Drive automation, resolve complex security platform issues, and mentor engineers and analysts.

Requirements

• Progressive hands-on experience in security engineering, information security, infrastructure, cloud, network, systems administration, or application security.
• Experience with Zscaler, Microsoft security tools, Tenable, and Wiz.
• Ability to design and maintain scripts, workflows, and automation solutions for security operations.
• Strong skills in security engineering, architecture, technical solution design, risk-based decision-making, documentation, and executive-level communication.
• A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is accepted.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience applying agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot to security engineering workflows.
• CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, Microsoft Security, cloud security, or equivalent certifications.
