Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; work may be performed from home, at the client, or from the Brussels office. Temporary assignments abroad, including France and the Netherlands, may be required. Work permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and audit engagements across cyber strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Support cyber strategy initiatives such as target operating models, maturity assessments, transformation programs, and executive advisory.
• Assess and manage cyber risk, third-party risk, compliance, privacy assurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Work on cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, application, IoT, industrial control, data protection, cryptography, and security architecture projects.
• Conduct threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, red teaming, and business continuity activities.
• Develop cybersecurity SaaS solutions and proof-of-concepts through the CyberLab, conduct technology benchmarks, and contribute to cybersecurity publications and events.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm with cybersecurity project experience.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, Unix/Linux, Windows or macOS, AWS/Azure/GCP, web servers, databases, middleware, and cryptography.
• French, Dutch, and English language skills are required. Temporary international assignments may be required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of blockchain.
• Experience or interest in advanced cybersecurity technologies and AI.
