Senior Program Manager (Autonomous Systems)

Salary: $118,700–$211,300 annually

What you will do

• Lead complex engineering programs and concurrent technical workstreams from planning through integration, validation, and delivery.
• Define program scope, milestones, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks, deliverables, and customer commitments.
• Coordinate systems, mechanical, electrical, software, controls, procurement, prototype build, integration, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Lead customer and internal program reviews covering technical progress, financial performance, decisions, risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Manage requirement and scope changes, assess cost and schedule impacts, and track acceptance criteria and deliverables through completion.
• Support new business proposals and transition awarded work into disciplined program execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in program management, project management, engineering, or product development involving complex systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical programs with responsibility for schedules, budgets, resources, risks, customer relationships, integration, testing, and delivery.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering, requirements management, system architecture, interface management, verification and validation, and hardware/software integration.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to translate customer objectives and requirements into executable program plans.
• Some positions may require U.S. Person status for access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous systems, drive-by-wire, electrification, power and energy systems, or advanced vehicle technologies.
