Senior Manager Program Management (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Coppell, Texas, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Base salary: $176,000–$213,000 per year, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Set the vision, strategic plan, governance, standards, and operating cadence for the Development Test Operations program management organization.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers embedded with engineering groups as their primary points of contact.
• Coordinate test programs, portfolios, resources, budgets, dependencies, and readiness across lane and network expansion, track testing, road testing, and other development test workstreams.
• Ensure initiatives have clear scope, descriptions, need-by dates, and executable test procedures, while maintaining high-quality testing requests for Operations.
• Manage escalations and stakeholder alignment across Engineering, Planning, and Portfolio teams, while communicating risks and mitigations.
• Review execution and QA trends, establish reporting metrics, and drive root-cause process improvements and standardized workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Technical Operations, including 5+ years managing Program or Project Managers.
• Experience building standardized reporting and operating cadences across distributed teams.
• Strong technical fluency in software and hardware development workflows and the ability to translate engineering plans into executable field test programs.
• Experience managing relationships with Engineering leadership and Planning or Portfolio stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading change management and process improvement across a team.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment from the Coppell, Texas office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, robotics, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments.
• Exposure to field and operational testing, software or feature validation, platform bring-up, and hardware readiness.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and mapping builds, releases, and feature rollouts to test readiness.
• Experience building dashboards or reporting tools aggregating status across multiple sub-teams.
