Estimated starting salary: $113,428.57–$155,964.28 per year, plus potential annual incentive pay.

What you will do

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of quality control systems for materials and finished products.
  • Oversee complex inspections, testing, and evaluations of product precision, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Audit production processes and maintain quality documentation, records, and compliance evidence.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and use advanced inspection tools to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Mentor and train quality assurance staff on standards, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 13+ years of related experience in place of the degree.
  • 9+ years of progressive product assurance experience; a higher-level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS 9100, DCMA, and government requirements and standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical electrical and mechanical drawings, parts lists, and test procedures.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended inspection periods, handle small parts, and work in a noisy environment.

Nice to have

  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Quality assurance certification, such as ASQ certification.
  • Aerospace or defense industry experience.
