Data Analyst (AI)

Location: USA; hybrid

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 base salary annually, plus a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Act as an embedded business partner, understanding processes, decisions, pain points, priorities, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business questions into data visualizations, calculations, data models, metrics, and acceptance criteria.
• Use AI-assisted capabilities for data exploration, SQL development, documentation, testing, visualization, and prototyping.
• Partner with engineering and governance teams to build end-to-end data products with documented definitions, lineage, ownership, assumptions, and quality rules.
• Build forecasting, segmentation, and scenario analysis tools to support business decisions.
• Own the analytics product lifecycle from problem definition and prototyping through validation, release, adoption, and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, information systems, business, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, analytics product development, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and a modern data visualization platform such as Power BI.
• Experience translating business needs into dashboards, analytical products, metrics, or decision-support solutions.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders, subject-matter experts, data engineers, architects, and governance partners.
• Knowledge of BI, data visualization, dimensional modeling, and medallion architecture, with strong analytical, communication, and commercial judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience with predictive modeling, Python, R, Databricks, cloud data platforms, or AI-enabled analytics tools.
• Insurance brokerage, financial services, or other data-intensive industry experience.
• Experience establishing new analytics capabilities or reporting functions from scratch.
