Manager, Technology Operations

Location: Onsite at the Main Home Office Building in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $80,000–$155,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Manage technical programs and operational workstreams across milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, implementation, and post-launch activities.
• Coordinate delivery across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Merchandising, and Operations.
• Translate business needs and operational insights into requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, defects, and adoption while coordinating corrective actions.
• Analyze data and system behavior to identify root causes, process gaps, and automation opportunities.
• Support release readiness through documentation, training, testing, and implementation planning.

Requirements

• Experience managing technical projects or workstreams, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery.
• Working knowledge of merchandising processes, item and product data, and technology-supported business operations.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements, use cases, testing scenarios, and actionable plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of project, program, or operations management experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, learn complex systems, coordinate dependencies, and follow through on commitments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
