Senior Project Manager

What you will do

• Lead complex, high-value and strategically important capital projects and programmes from initiation and brief development through delivery, handover and operational use.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, interdependencies, risks, resources, approvals, constraints and stakeholder impacts.
• Own financial and project controls, including budgets, cashflow forecasts, schedules, risk registers, change control and performance reporting.
• Shape procurement and contracting strategies and manage consultant and contractor appointments, performance, costs, changes and claims.
• Advise senior stakeholders and governance forums, translating complex technical, commercial and programme information into clear recommendations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, set performance standards and implement recovery actions when delivery is off track.

Requirements

• Substantial experience leading complex, high-value capital projects and programmes within a large, multi-stakeholder organisation.
• Experience managing standalone projects and programmes with multiple interdependent workstreams, including dependencies, risks, governance and reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously, apply professional judgement and advise senior stakeholders on complex delivery and commercial matters.
• Strong knowledge of construction procurement, contract administration and commercial management, including NEC contracts.
• Highly developed stakeholder management, influencing, analytical and communication skills.
