Operator Launch Trainer (Clinical Training)

Location: New York; hybrid, with travel for most of the working time and extended periods on site

What you will do

• Deliver the operator onboarding program on site during the full pre-launch period for each new clinic and market opening.
• Teach and assess clinical skills alongside scanning, including phlebotomy and ECG.
• Assess operators against global competency criteria and sign them off on each device, extending training where needed.
• Support Friends and Family and VIP sessions by scanning alongside trainees, observing member encounters, and resolving quality gaps in real time.
• Identify and train the local operator education partner, working closely with the Clinician Launch Trainer and Launch Manager.
• Run launch retrospectives and improve the clinic-opening playbook based on lessons learned.

Requirements

• Registered nurse or nurse practitioner with active, unrestricted licensure and willingness to obtain licensure in each state or country where Neko opens.
• At least 5 years of post-registration experience in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
• At least 3 years of experience performing, teaching, and assessing phlebotomy and ECG.
• At least 3 years of experience training, onboarding, or mentoring clinical staff, including competency assessment and direct feedback.
• At least 2 years of experience running a training program or workstream to a fixed deadline and handing it over cleanly.
• Ability to travel for most working time, including extended periods on site. Adaptability, calm decision-making, relationship-building, and the ability to maintain standards under timeline pressure are required.

Nice to have

• Experience opening a clinic, site, or service, particularly in a new city or country.
• Experience building a local trainer or educator from scratch.
• Instructor certification in basic life support or phlebotomy, or existing multi-state licensure.
• Experience with ultrasound or other device-based procedures where technique affects output quality.
