Software Engineer III: Test Automation (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Allen, Texas, with at least 2 days per week in the office. Travel: 5%.

Salary: $76,400–$115,000 per year, based on experience and location.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust automated test suites and targeted manual test cases.
• Embed automation across the software development lifecycle, from prototyping and requirements refinement through production.
• Execute unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for software quality, security, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development, DevOps, and cross-functional teams on release readiness.
• Debug build failures, analyze defects, troubleshoot automation and environment issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Define automation standards, maintain QA documentation, and recommend improvements based on emerging testing technologies.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of technical experience in software development and/or quality assurance.
• Experience with C#, Java, Selenium, API testing, Playwright, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with test automation tools and Windows and Unix-based systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must work from the Allen, Texas office at least 2 days per week.
• Immigration sponsorship and support are not available; candidates must not require immigration support now or in the future.
