Location: Remote within the United States, with a strong preference for candidates in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and occasional onsite meetings in Washington, DC. All work must be performed in the U.S.; foreign access and personal VPN connections are prohibited.
Salary: $81,499.00–$138,549.00 annually

What you will do
- Implement automated testing, release validation, quality gates, rollback readiness checks, and release evidence capture.
- Convert business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into automated or repeatable tests.
- Validate functional, integration, security, accessibility, load, and performance expectations across applications, data platforms, APIs, and AI/ML workloads.
- Coordinate release readiness with Agile Delivery Managers, Functional Leads, SRE, engineering, security, governance, and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Document test results, risks, defects, decisions, compliance artifacts, and delivery evidence to support traceability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. residency, and authorization to work in the U.S. are required.
- Three full years of residence in the U.S. during the last five years are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science, software engineering, information systems, quality engineering, or computer engineering field, or a high school diploma with four additional years of relevant experience.
- At least six years of relevant experience; a master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
- Experience with automated functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, user acceptance, load, performance, scalability, resiliency, or accessibility testing.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, or LoadRunner, plus CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, data pipelines, workflow orchestration, business intelligence tools, and enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting platform modernization, analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, federal government, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of AI/ML testing, model validation, data validation, prompt evaluation, responsible AI, Section 508, security testing, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or cross-functional delivery teams.
