Associate, Leverage Finance

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with at least three days per week or 60% of working time at the London office

What you will do

• Support the origination and execution of leveraged finance transactions across mid- and large-cap markets.
• Prepare credit papers, investment committee submissions, internal reports, and client marketing materials.
• Research future opportunities and analyse complex data to inform client discussions and product development.
• Work with private equity sponsors, corporate clients, advisers, and internal partners to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Help ensure transactions are appropriately priced and completed in line with regulatory requirements and Group objectives.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in leveraged finance and supporting leveraged debt transactions.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
• Experience preparing credit papers, investment committee submissions, or similar transaction documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex information to varied stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills for producing marketing materials.

Nice to have

• Direct leverage finance experience or experience in Debt or M&A Advisory, Transaction Services, or a similar field.
• Accountancy qualifications.
