Customer Quality Engineer (Semiconductors)

Location: Minhang District, China. The role involves travel to customer sites across China, with occasional international travel.

Salary: CNY 230,600–320,200 per year.

What you will do

• Act as the first engineering contact for customer technical and quality inquiries and requests.
• Oversee new product introduction progress at customer sites and respond to detected technical issues.
• Manage customer requests for failure analysis.
• Work with engineering and sales teams to provide timely solutions and improve the customer experience.
• Build working-level relationships with enterprise SSD customers and their ODM partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of electrical products, semiconductor components, or server systems.
• Customer-oriented mindset and communication skills for engaging customers and internal partners.
• Ability to communicate in both Chinese and English.
• Knowledge or experience with storage products, SSDs, HDDs, DRAM, NAND failure analysis, or problem solving is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across China; occasional international travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Customer Quality Engineer, Application Engineer, or Field Application Engineer for electronic or semiconductor products.
• Experience in NAND, SSD, or server manufacturing at an ODM, OEM, supplier, or customer organization.
• Strong English listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
