Customer Support Technician-DDP (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Shenzhen, China; onsite customer support role. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Plan daily territory activities and complete preventive, remedial, warranty, paid-service, and contract maintenance.
• Perform periodic maintenance, wet cleans, system start-ups, equipment verification, and operational quality checks.
• Troubleshoot process variations and equipment problems, escalating down situations and coordinating with senior engineers when needed.
• Support customer satisfaction by planning service activities, communicating with customer management, and participating in customer meetings.
• Track equipment performance, improve uptime and productivity, and apply Statistical Process Control and Quality Improvement Process methods.
• Provide technical assistance and informal guidance to less experienced personnel.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a range of analytical processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Quality Improvement Process terminology.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues using established procedures and precedents.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, gloves, respirators, and face shields.
• Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially difficult noise levels.
