What you will do
- Plan daily work within the assigned territory and complete preventive, remedial, periodic maintenance, wet cleans, start-ups, warranty, paid service, and service contract activities.
- Verify equipment operation and quality, troubleshoot process variations, and correct system problems with support from senior engineers when needed.
- Monitor equipment performance, plan uptime improvements, and apply Statistical Process Control and Quality Improvement Process methods.
- Coordinate customer support plans, communicate with customer management, participate in customer meetings, and act as a liaison on administrative and technical matters.
- Provide technical assistance to less experienced personnel and instruct customers in system operation and maintenance.
- Work with hand and power tools in physically demanding cleanroom conditions while using required personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures relevant to assigned tasks.
- Understanding of how the team integrates with other teams to achieve objectives.
- Ability to solve atypical or infrequently occurring problems using established procedures and precedents.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish colors and work around noise, chemicals, and cleanroom conditions while using coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
