What you will do

• Own the crime and home affairs agenda, including relationships with the Ministry of Justice, Home Office, major police forces and unions.
• Break exclusive and revelatory stories and lead major investigations.
• Front breaking news, interviews, live events and video-first journalism across television and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with newsroom, hub, investigations, data and audience teams on ambitious journalism.
• Build a distinctive personal brand and an engaged audience community.
• Present confidently across live television, digital video, social, audio and emerging platforms.

Requirements

• Senior correspondent experience with authoritative storytelling and the ability to explain complex stories clearly.
• Strong on-screen and digital storytelling capability.
• Digital-first, audience-led approach with a deep understanding of digital formats, emerging storytelling and audience behaviour.
• Proven ability to build trusted sources, cultivate relationships and maintain strong professional networks.
• Ability to react quickly, identify angles and deliver high-pressure news while upholding editorial standards.
• Ability to work from the London/Osterley office base.
