What you will do

• Generate story ideas, research major news stories, and develop distinctive editorial angles with presenters and the Executive Producer.
• Lead scripting, running orders, guest booking, briefing, recording, editing, and publication for selected daily episodes.
• Adapt editorial content for audio, digital, video, and social channels in collaboration with specialist producers.
• Maintain accuracy, fairness, editorial, legal, and compliance standards across all output.
• Plan and deliver special episodes, series, show launches, outside broadcasts, interviews, and events.
• Deputise for the Executive Producer when required and support presenters and the wider production team.

Requirements

• Significant experience producing podcasts, radio, audio, or news content in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong editorial judgement and knowledge of the UK and US news agendas.
• Proven ability to script, develop stories, book guests, and deliver high-quality speech-based content to tight deadlines.
• Strong prioritisation, organisation, attention to detail, and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Experience collaborating with presenters and senior editorial colleagues, with confidence to lead when required.
• Ability to uphold editorial standards across published content.
