Legal Counsel - Pensions

What you will do

• Advise on pensions law and the taxation of pension schemes.
• Support the continued growth and operation of the hirify.global Master Trust, which exceeds £11 billion in assets under management.
• Work with compliance and operations teams on day-to-day Master Trust activities.
• Provide strategic legal advice on the implementation of new products.
• Attend Trustee and sub-committee meetings when required.

Requirements

• At least around two years of post-qualification experience as a pensions lawyer, ideally with defined contribution scheme experience.
• Confident and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and legal risk management.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, meet short deadlines, and maintain close attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across senior internal and external stakeholders.
