Export & Trade Compliance Manager USM (Aerospace)

Location: 100% onsite in Boca Raton, Florida; the role may also be based in Glendale, Arizona or Herndon, Virginia. Requires 10% domestic travel.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year, with geographic differentials possible.

hirify.global is an aerospace services company within the Satair and Airbus organization, supplying used serviceable aircraft material and related storage and disassembly services.

What you will do

• Perform restricted-party screening, supplier and partner due diligence, and maintain compliance records.
• Resolve shipment holds by collecting export elements such as End User Statements and ECCNs, and review EEI filings against commercial invoices.
• Support export license applications through SNAP-R, commodity classification and CCATS activities, EAR exceptions, and regulatory research.
• Own export-control documentation, migrate historical compliance data, and maintain technology-transfer and government-inquiry trackers.
• Coordinate Export Points of Contact and subsidiaries, support internal-controls assessments, and help implement corporate compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate compliance training and meetings, including scheduling, attendance tracking, agendas, and action minutes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in export compliance, international logistics, or a paralegal role in a highly regulated industry; aerospace or defense experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with OCR or similar GTM software, ACE/AES, SNAP-R, and Google Workspace.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must work onsite 100% and be able to travel domestically as required.
• Ability to manage detailed documentation, regulatory research, shipment controls, audits, and cross-functional coordination.

Nice to have

• Licensed Customs Broker certification.
• Aerospace or defense export-compliance experience.
