Business Analysis Advisor (Commercial Banking)

Location: Must be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Cleveland, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; or Charlotte, North Carolina. Remote work may be available in select U.S. locations with approval, with occasional in-office participation required based on business needs.

Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead research, discovery, collection, and interpretation of complex business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable requirements and solution approaches.
• Develop current- and future-state process maps, data flows, workflow analytics, reporting, and policy documentation.
• Research and resolve commercial lending business and technical issues with management, end users, stakeholders, and technology teams.
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases, support Agile ceremonies, and write, review, and refine user stories.
• Mentor business analysts and lead project planning, quality assurance, effectiveness assessment, and successful solution deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Strong data analysis skills, including Excel pivot tables and advanced functions.
• Experience with Agile software development methodology, requirements gathering, documentation, problem solving, and business process modeling.
• Ability to structure ambiguous information and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience writing requirements for and testing APIs.
• Knowledge of commercial lending business and technology.
• Experience with waterfall methodology, management reporting, and effectiveness measurement.
