Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $89,000–$121,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead business analysis, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives from requirements through implementation.
• Partner with business stakeholders, leadership, technical teams, and end-users to define requirements, reporting specifications, data needs, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities, track milestones and dependencies, manage risks and issues, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Analyze processes, workflows, data outputs, and system capabilities to identify gaps, trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports, validate data quality, reconcile outputs, and support user acceptance testing.
• Improve reporting governance, automation, stakeholder engagement, and scalable delivery of business intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in data reporting, business analysis, project management, analytics, business intelligence, operations, or a related field.
• Experience with complex reporting or analytics initiatives, including requirements gathering, scope definition, planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including external data connections, pivot tables, analysis, and dashboard or report development.
• Experience with relational databases, query development and validation, data integration, process automation, data structures, and reconciliation.
• Strong communication, analytical, facilitation, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or professional certification in business, healthcare administration, analytics, project management, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, hybrid delivery models, Lean Six Sigma, or business analysis methodologies.
• Advanced SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, data warehousing, or enterprise reporting experience.
• Experience in healthcare operations, clinical analytics, claims, membership, provider, finance, or consumer experience.
