Sr. BI Developer

Location: Remote in listed US states, including Texas; the stated salary range is specific to Massachusetts

Salary: $111,791–$167,687 annually in Massachusetts, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise Power BI architectures for self-service reporting and ad hoc data exploration.
• Build scalable Power BI data models and analytical assets that support strategic decision-making.
• Establish and manage a Power BI Center of Excellence with partners across business departments.
• Integrate BI solutions with centralized data platforms, ERP systems, and governed data models.
• Guide business users and team members in developing reports and ensure adoption of delivered solutions.
• Apply agile, DevOps, project management, and data governance practices, including KPI standards and business glossaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• More than 7 years of Business Intelligence experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on enterprise Power BI experience.
• At least 2 years leading BI teams or managing cross-functional BI initiatives.
• Experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions in complex enterprise IT environments, including Oracle or similar ERP integration.
• Experience creating and managing a Power BI Center of Excellence and working with Agile methodology.
• Strong communication, planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in the CPG, hard goods, or retail industry.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience designing modern data platform architectures and scalable BI infrastructure.
