Senior BI Developer (Power BI)

Location: Remote in listed U.S. states

Salary: $111,791–$167,687 annually in Massachusetts; the range may vary by location, experience, skills, and performance.

What you will do

• Design and implement robust Power BI architectures for self-service reporting and ad hoc data exploration.
• Build scalable Power BI data models and end-to-end analytical solutions connected to centralized data platforms and ERP systems.
• Design and implement a Power BI Center of Excellence with business and technology partners.
• Establish governance practices including business glossaries, standardized KPIs, and shared business definitions.
• Lead analytical initiatives, coordinate consultants and distributed contributors, and ensure timely delivery and business adoption.
• Apply Agile, DevOps, project management, and performance measurement practices across BI activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• More than 7 years of Business Intelligence experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on Power BI enterprise experience.
• At least 2 years leading BI teams or managing cross-functional BI initiatives.
• Experience designing Power BI solutions within complex enterprise IT environments, including centralized data platforms, ERP systems such as Oracle, and governed data models.
• Experience creating and managing a Power BI Center of Excellence, working with Agile methodologies, and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong planning, prioritization, project management, written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in the CPG, hard goods, or retail industry.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience designing scalable BI infrastructure and modern data platform architectures.
