Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite five days a week

Salary: $105,100–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Install, configure, update, and patch Windows Server environments and related components.
• Design and maintain multi-node Hyper-V clusters, failover clustering, live migration, and storage replication.
• Plan, execute, and verify backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability, and resolve incidents within SLA tiers.
• Maintain audit artifacts, security documentation, and compliance reports.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active federal clearance is required.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Hyper-V, IIS, VMware, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience managing Hyper-V clusters, Windows Server Failover Clustering, and Hyper-V networking and storage architecture.
• Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, DISA STIGs, vulnerability management, and network security.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages, with experience automating operational tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience; 3–5+ years of system administration experience.
