TOP (Top of Production) Manager

What you will do

• Lead the TOP team, provide performance feedback, conduct meetings, and ensure daily quotas and quality standards are met.
• Oversee TOP sample reviews across apparel, childrenswear, cosmetics, accessories, and shoes.
• Check garment construction, fit, fabric, print, sewing quality, measurements, product descriptions, labeling, packaging, barcodes, RN numbers, Prop 65, and style numbers.
• Communicate sample issues and statuses to vendors and collaborate with buyers and compliance stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain efficient sample review and approval processes, update web content, and manage the TOP/Core library and documentation.
• Develop training and cross-training programs while supporting the Quality Control department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel Industry Management, Apparel Technical Design, Production, Product Development, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of managerial experience in apparel pre-production, quality assurance, and product integrity.
• Leadership experience in fashion design, production, or quality control.
• In-depth knowledge of garment fit, construction, specifications, and intermediate fabric knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
• Strong time management, organization, follow-up, communication, and team leadership skills.
