Quality Inspector 2 (Second Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing location in Corona, California, United States; second shift

Salary: $19.23–$25.40 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect machined parts, forgings, castings, materials, and assemblies for dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications, blueprints, manufacturing plans, and customer requirements.
• Operate coordinate measuring machines and use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and bore gauges for dimensional inspections.
• Document inspection results in quality systems and maintain traceability of inspected parts.
• Identify, isolate, and control nonconforming products; issue quality alerts and support containment activities.
• Assist engineering and production teams with quality investigations and corrective actions.
• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance for inspection equipment while following safety and ISO quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience operating CMM equipment and interpreting measurement data.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other hand measuring tools.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and technical documentation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision, follow attendance requirements, and work overtime when needed.
