Sr. Quality Control Inspector (Nuclear)

Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio, United States; onsite role with hours flexed according to business needs and customer shipping requirements.

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections using dimensional, visual, and test equipment.
• Determine acceptance or rejection of materials, parts, and equipment across commercial, safety-related, military, and ASME Code products.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, procedures, charts, and other technical data.
• Set up and adapt inspection equipment and techniques, including CMMs, gages, measuring tools, and test stands.
• Review and disposition nonconforming and customer-returned materials, including rework, scrap, and supplier returns.
• Maintain inspection records, support auditors and customer or government inspectors, coordinate inspection status, and participate in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of hands-on industrial and metrology inspection experience.
• Knowledge of quality practices, ISO, gage calibration, metrology, and GD&T.
• Ability to use surface plates, height gages, comparators, hand tools, attribute gages, and other inspection equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, review certification documentation, perform visual inspections, and apply shop math, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to set up and use a CMM for dimensional inspection and analyze inspection reports.
