What you will do

• Own the monthly and quarterly financial close, delivering accurate and increasingly timely financials.
• Research, document, and apply technical accounting positions for revenue recognition, equity compensation, and non-standard transactions.
• Manage stock compensation expense, 409A coordination, and cap table reconciliation with FP&A and Legal.
• Design scalable internal controls and prepare the organization for audit and SOX readiness.
• Lead outsourced income tax and sales and use tax compliance, as well as the annual external audit.
• Evaluate and optimize ERP and finance systems while automating manual accounting workflows.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and industry, ideally including a high-growth or pre-IPO technology company.
• Active CPA certification required or strongly preferred.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 718 stock-based compensation.
• Experience managing external auditors and building or maturing internal controls, with SOX experience considered a plus.
• Experience implementing or owning an ERP such as NetSuite and its finance-system integrations.
• Ability to present technical accounting positions and close results to the CFO, board, and audit committee.
