Reliability Expert (Manufacturing Reliability)

Location: Remote in Mexico, with remote and on-site support for manufacturing sites across the Americas.

What you will do

• Lead regional reliability initiatives to reduce downtime, equipment failures, maintenance costs, and production losses.
• Analyze equipment performance, failure history, maintenance data, and production losses to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, lubrication, inspection, and condition monitoring programs.
• Facilitate root cause analysis, failure mode analysis, bad actor reviews, and corrective action plans for critical equipment issues.
• Support maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, work execution, and maintenance productivity.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and plant leadership across the Americas to improve equipment ownership, reliability culture, and cross-site standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Maintenance Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of manufacturing maintenance and reliability experience, preferably in chemical or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of reliability methods including RCA, FMEA, PM optimization, condition monitoring, and bad actor elimination.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar systems for maintenance planning, work order management, and reliability reporting.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
