Senior Sourcing Manager (PCB/SiP)

Location: Hybrid — work 2–3 days per week from the San Francisco office; US location required. Candidates residing in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wisconsin are not considered.

Salary: $172,550–$203,000 annually for San Francisco.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end category strategy and supplier execution for silicon and electrical components across current and next-generation hardware programs.
• Partner with Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product, Finance, Legal, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
• Run RFQs, negotiate commercial terms, and perform module- and component-level cost analysis.
• Secure component supply and manage supplier capacity, forecasts, commitments, and clear-to-build readiness.
• Drive supplier performance across capacity, delivery, quality, and cost for development, pilot, and mass production.
• Monitor silicon market dynamics, technology trends, and capacity or geopolitical risks, translating insights into mitigation plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in PCB, PCBA, FPC, or SiP sourcing or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and applying should-cost analysis.
• Strong negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience handling supply escalations and managing vendor forecasts and commitments.
• Ability to travel 25% domestically and internationally and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tier-1 FPC and PCB foundry suppliers and Surface Mount Technology partners across Asia, North America, or Europe.
• Experience in high-volume consumer electronics and CM, ODM, or JDM manufacturing models.
• Strong understanding of PCB and FPC supply chains and finished-goods production processes.
• Master’s degree.
