NPI Strategic Sourcing Manager III (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Onsite role with approximately 10% travel; relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $101,000–$139,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement supply chain strategies for new products from NPI through high-volume production.
• Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure reliable, cost-effective material and component supply.
• Lead supply chain deliverables across engineering, supplier management, procurement, planning, production control, finance, manufacturing, and quality.
• Develop dual-sourcing and risk-mitigation strategies for long-lead components and supply chain points of failure.
• Manage material cost-reduction roadmaps, supplier negotiations, cost targets, and cost-apportionment models.
• Oversee semiconductor equipment NPI programs, resolving risks related to schedule, budget, quality, and commercialization.

Requirements

• BS degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, fabrication, and/or supply chain management.
• Experience in program management, supply chain management, and commercial decision-making.
• Knowledge of fabrication commodities and processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must work from Santa Clara, California; the role is not relocation eligible.

Nice to have

• MS or MBA degree.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and design for cost initiatives.
• Experience supporting R&D initiatives involving emerging technologies and materials.
