Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States. The role requires work in an office, laboratory, hangar, or offsite environment, with occasional travel. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
Estimated starting salary: $82,039.23–$112,803.95 per year.

What you will do
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for complex aerospace and defense systems.
- Conduct system-, subsystem-, and component-level functional, performance, and environmental testing.
- Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive test reports and briefings.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues and anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine test requirements and methodologies.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment and support internal and external technical meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in test engineering or a related role.
- Understanding of test and evaluation principles, engineering practices, requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, networking, and testing microservice-based web application architectures.
- Exposure to planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation activities.
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and troubleshoot logically.
Nice to have
- Experience with manual and automated testing, testing equipment, standards, and methodologies.
- Experience preparing complex test plans, procedures, and reports demonstrating compliance with system requirements.
- Experience with product and quality assurance, non-conformance disposition, and test automation frameworks.
- Understanding or implementation experience with CI/CD pipelines and reverse traceability documentation automation.
- Experience with Python, C#, or TypeScript, or a background in the aerospace and defense industry.
