Senior MineStar Test and Validation Engineer (Mining Technology)

Location: Full-time onsite at Tucson Proving Grounds, Green Valley, Arizona; onsite five days per week. Up to 10% travel to customer sites may be required. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and execute validation activities for MineStar products, features, software releases, machine integrations, and system enhancements.
• Create test plans, test procedures, and validation reports supporting product development and release readiness.
• Validate MineStar functionality in proving-ground and customer-facing environments.
• Investigate, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document complex software and system issues.
• Partner with development, product support, operations, field follow, and MineStar support teams to identify root causes and verify corrective actions.
• Support integration testing, field investigations, new product introductions, deployments, and release readiness reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with MineStar products or mining technology solutions.
• Experience creating and executing structured software test plans and validation activities.
• Knowledge of technical troubleshooting across hardware, software, applications, infrastructure, and operational environments.
• Knowledge of mining industry trends, operational challenges, and regulatory considerations.
• Must work onsite five days per week at Tucson Proving Grounds; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with MineStar Fleet, Terrain, Health, Detect, or Command.
• Knowledge of surface mining operations and production processes.
• Experience with MineStar deployments, field installations, software validation, systems integration, or product verification.
• Familiarity with networking, wireless communications, onboard systems, GNSS/GPS, machine guidance, or autonomous mining solutions.
• Experience using data analysis tools and supporting field follow, NPI, or release validation programs.
