Senior Consultant, Business Controls (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. The work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location; employment sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $125,000–$130,000 USD annually for US candidates; $80,000–$100,000 CAD annually for Canadian candidates, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Lead the transformation of the US CAO/TDAI 1B risk program and develop governance, risk, and control strategies.
• Design and implement practice management frameworks for issues management, control management, incident management, and metrics reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and second-line-of-defense partners across the United States and Canada and throughout all three lines of defense.
• Use data analytics, AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve reporting, reduce manual effort, and strengthen program effectiveness.
• Provide risk management consultation, training, tools, and guidance to business partners while promoting accountability and risk awareness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in risk management and practice management within the financial industry.
• Proven experience developing, leading, and executing GRC strategies in a fast-paced financial services environment.
• Expertise in risk management activities, control frameworks, risk assessments, operational risk, and risk governance.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, communication, relationship management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience interpreting data and delivering insights using tools such as Power BI.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified US location is required; employment sponsorship is not available.
