Salary: $113,520–$198,000 in Denver; $126,000–$162,540 in Las Vegas; $125,904–$219,600 in New York City; $119,712–$208,800 in Washington, DC.

What you will do

  • Design, coordinate, document, and deliver electrical systems for mission-critical data center projects.
  • Develop engineering calculations and review shop drawings for conformance with plans and specifications.
  • Lead discipline coordination and manage complex, large-scale project scopes, including fast-track and multi-phase builds.
  • Coordinate client, architect, engineering, design, and construction requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor colleagues, and support business development activities.
  • Visit job sites and contribute to commissioning, constructability, and project delivery.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of electrical engineering experience in MEP and/or construction, with strong mission-critical and data center experience.
  • Experience with power distribution, redundancy strategies, UPS systems, generators, paralleling switchgear, PDUs, grounding, and backup power systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical codes, standards, NEC, redundancy topologies, selective coordination, and arc flash studies.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and managing high-stakes projects where reliability and uptime are essential.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, SKM/ETAP or similar tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. A PE license is highly preferred and required for Engineers of Record; FE/EIT certification is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

  • RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, WELL, or other mission-critical/data center certifications.
  • Experience with lighting, lightning protection, solar and wind power, and emergency egress illumination.
