Counsel Senior Manager, Regulatory Investigations & Enforcement (iGaming)

Location: New York City, hybrid

Salary: $146,000–$182,000 USD annually, depending on experience, location, business needs, and market demand.

hirify.global is a mobile gaming and sports betting company operating sportsbook, iGaming, horse racing, daily fantasy sports, television, and streaming products across the United States and Canada.

What you will do

• Manage investigations involving regulatory inquiries, incidents, escalated customer complaints, responsible gaming, integrity, fraud and payments, marketing, risk and trading, and account management.
• Own documentation, audits, controls, metrics, and reporting for regulatory matters.
• Partner with operations teams to integrate regulatory obligations, transparency requirements, and controls.
• Coordinate horizon scanning and proactively address regulatory issues with stakeholders across business lines.
• Support engagement with regulators and Market Access Partners in jurisdictions where regulated products operate.
• Provide legal analysis and regulatory guidance on state requirements, subpoenas, search warrants, garnishments, and liens.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from a top law school and active membership in good standing of at least one state bar.
• At least five years of legal experience focused primarily on investigations or regulatory enforcement.
• Experience engaging with and advocating before regulators, including mandatory reporting requirements.
• Strong legal research, problem-solving, policy analysis, advocacy, and strategic communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• May be required to obtain state gaming licenses in various jurisdictions to represent hirify.global before regulators.

Nice to have

• Experience at a state regulatory or enforcement body.
• Prior gaming experience.
• In-house experience in a highly regulated industry or high-growth technology company.
• Experience developing processes, procedures, data analytics, and reporting for senior business leaders.
