Electrical Engineer II (Aerospace)

Location: Tampa, United States; onsite professional office environment. Only U.S. citizens are eligible.

What you will do

• Develop technical designs and documentation for complex electro-mechanical and electronics-based systems.
• Apply electrical engineering methods, theories, CAD tools, and research techniques to assigned projects.
• Design electrical solutions from OEM data, including simulation wiring.
• Coordinate work with lead engineers, peer engineers, project personnel, program management, and customers.
• Lead process, tool, and productivity improvements for the Electrical/Electronics group.
• Deliver work within approved cost and schedule budgets and support CONUS/OCONUS travel and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• BSEE and 3+ years of related experience.
• At least 2 years of electrical design development experience with CAD applications.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Promis-E.
• Experience with electrical circuitry, electrical design processes, and simulation wiring.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70: National Electrical Code and familiarity with IEC standards.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Personal Security Clearance are required.

• Working knowledge of military specifications and standards or ANSI.
